These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the KOD Events platform ("the Platform") and its services. By using the Platform or requesting any of its services, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Definitions

• The Platform: the KOD Events website and services for venue and service booking and the Riyadh events directory.
• User: any person browsing the Platform or requesting its services.
• Services: venue and related service bookings, and publishing events in the directory.

2. Legal Capacity

You must have full legal capacity (18 years or older) to contract and request services. By requesting a service, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Services

The Platform provides venue and complementary service bookings, plus a public directory of Riyadh events. We may develop, modify or discontinue services at any time without prejudice to confirmed bookings.

4. Bookings and Quotes

• A quote remains valid for the period stated within it.
• A booking is finally confirmed after the deposit is paid and required documents are completed.
• A request submitted through the Platform is a booking request and is not a final confirmation until approved by our team and the venue is available.
• Certain entities may have booking priority under our internal operating policy.

5. On-Request and Partner Venues

We may provide venues beyond our own from our partner network upon your request. Their pricing and availability terms are subject to coordination with the owning party and are communicated to you before approval. We are not liable for the owning party's breach of its obligations beyond our role as coordinator.

6. Pricing and VAT

All prices are in Saudi Riyals, plus Value Added Tax at 15% in accordance with ZATCA regulations. VAT is clearly shown in the quote and invoice.

7. Payment

Payments are made through the available methods (bank transfer, direct payment or cash). A booking is confirmed only after payment is verified as stated in the quote.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policy is subject to the terms agreed at the time of contracting. Deposit refunds may be subject to administrative or preparation fees depending on how close the cancellation is to the event date.

9. Submitting Events to the Directory

• Events submitted by organizers appear after review and approval by the KOD team.
• The submitter bears full responsibility for the accuracy of the event details and their right to publish them, and confirms they do not violate laws, public morals or third-party rights.
• We may reject or remove any non-compliant or inaccurate event without prior notice.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, not to publish misleading, offensive or unlawful content, and not to compromise the Platform's security, in line with the Saudi Anti-Cyber Crime Law.

11. Intellectual Property

All trademark, design and content rights of KOD Events are reserved and protected under the intellectual property laws of the Kingdom. They may not be copied or reused without prior written permission.

12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is". We exercise reasonable care to ensure information accuracy and service availability without guaranteeing they are entirely free of errors or interruption. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Indemnity

The User agrees to indemnify KOD Events against any damages or claims arising from their breach of these Terms or applicable laws.

14. Privacy

Processing of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any breach or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, major technical failures or government decisions.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The competent judicial authorities in Riyadh have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them after amicable settlement is not reached.

17. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time; updates take effect upon publication on this page with their date.
